The Corona Virus
At Grimscote Manor, we started noticing cancellations at the beginning of March. It was Crufts week here at the NEC which for us is filled with regulars year in and year out — the hotel is normally buzzing, this year it was different.
Like all hospitality businesses, the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic has been felt deeply here at Grimscote Manor. Our doors, which are usually open to welcome guests from all over, have had to remain closed — and the silence has been striking.
However, throughout this challenging period our team has remained committed, our community has remained supportive, and our spirit has remained strong. We have continued to serve our local community wherever we can — delivering Christmas dinners to the elderly, supporting local charities, and keeping in touch with our wonderful guests through social media.
We believe in the power of hospitality — the warmth of a welcome, the joy of a good meal shared with loved ones, the comfort of a familiar place. We cannot wait to throw open our doors again and welcome you all back to Grimscote Manor. Until then, stay safe and take care of each other.
